I finally watched Injustice and I have some thoughts but first here's the trailer. If you haven't seen it go watch and come back. Actually don't go yet you can watch after we are done here.   

 

WONDER WOMAN

I have to say for all the talk Wonder Woman went subjugation way too fast. I don't like comparing people to Nazi's, especially when facism is right there but Diana The Amazon in this movie went straight Himmler. Like seriously she's the evil Jiminy Cricket whispering in his ear.  In her best Ying Yang Twin imitation.

Not only that she had no serious repercussions for her actions. When Superman first started having doubts instead of saying, you know what Kal maybe we should slow down and assess things. See how he's doing. Allow himself to grieve she said "Your will be done" Like what???????  🤯

When the other Justice League members were like no this is a step too far and we want nothing to do with this she made her stand. She dug in even deeper. There was no problem with arresting Justice League members and putting them in prison. 

I don't know if this is because of the new writers but there seems to be a serious disconnect with the core of the heroes. Like I don't know. Maybe I'll rewatch it and get a different feeling. 

So what does it take to become the villain? When is it easy to just accept that the only way to rule is via subjugation.
