Week in Review - oops never hit publish

 This has a been a great week in terms of news.

Let's work our way backward, shall we. 

BASTARD!! yes the Bastard!! has gotten a new anime series. I'm obviously going to put the trailer in here but just look.  

You know what I don't even know how many people have read the manga or even seen the 1992 six episode anime.  It was everything 90s anime.  It was one of those series that I saw on VHS that my siblings had purchased in like Chinatown in the city.

 Yes  I am old. I have been watching anime since I was kid. Was it child appropriate, of course not.  

The easiest way to describe the manga is Dungeons and Dragons meet 80's Heavy Metal influences.  For example the setting is in the Kingdom of Metallica.  Yes thee Metallica. 

I will not  lie but part of my reason for liking this had something to do with Arshes Nei. アーシェス・ネイ

If the style of the artwork looks familiar that's because it's AIC. The same studio that brought us Aa! Megami-Sami (Oh My Goddess), Tenchi Muyo,  Bubblegum Crisis.

In the Name of Honor - You gotta ride the beast! 

In the week that we received our first look at Bastard!! we were treated to the season finale of Boba Fett.   I'm not gonna lie it took forever for me to get into this show. Like it's still MEH in terms of how I feel abot it. Still not sure how smart it was to add The Mandalorian into the show. I get it but it really made Boba Fett take the back seat in his own show. It's not uncommon but it seems to happen often.

In case you're reading this and haven't seen I will only give this one spoiler image. 

 We knew this was going to happen an it paid off. Boba rode the rancor into battle. 

So you just know there is going to be Boba/Rancor Funko pop, a Lego set, hmm what else? I guess maybe regular figurine. Anything that sells.
