Howdy

It's the 7th day of Ani-May and I am including an anime I did not watch at all. Which is a bad thing to say I know but I know the music. Probably all of the songs. I'm not sure why I didn't really watch it but one day I will need to remedy that.

Anyway today's anime is 

しゅごキャラ!, Shugo Kyara! 

My Guardian Characters (Shugo Chara) is a magical anime,  based on theshōjo manga shojo manga of the same name created by manga author duo, Peach-Pit. The manga has 4 Volumes and the anime 25 episodes. 

The story centers on Amu Hinamori an elementary school girl. She is reffered to by the classmates as having a "cool and spicy" demeanor while in reality she is introverted. Amu wishes for the courage to be reborn as her would be self and one day, three magical eggs appear in her bed - which all soon hatch, bearing three fairies, or guardian characters. The guardians are Ran, Miki and Su.

There was musical theater adaption and even three video games for Nintendo DS.  

The reason I know this show is due to the music. Anyone who knows me in real life knows that I am a Hello! Project fan and they were involved with the music for the show.  The anime adaptation consists of twelve opening and ending singles (six for endings, four for openings and two containing both), two insert song singles, two character albums, four original soundtracks, one game single, and four drama CDs.

There was Shugo Chara Egg! (しゅごキャラエッグ!, Shugo Kyara Eggu!) , Guardians 4 (ガーディアンズ4, Gādianzu Fō) and Buono! These three groups were Japanese Idols formed by Up-Front Promotion which is also associated with Hello! Project. 

The members' original line-up for Shugo Chara Egg! were trainees pre-debut team, Hello! Pro Egg: Yuuka Maeda, Akari Saho, Kanon Fukuda and Ayaka Wada. Three of whom would go one to become part of Smileage. 

Guardians 4 members consist of Aika Mitsui from Morning Musume, Yurina Kumai and Risako Sugaya from Berryz Kobo, and Saki Nakajima from Cute.

 Buono!,  members were Airi Suzuki, Miyabi Natsuyaki, Momoko Tsugunaga
