Black History Month 2025

Today marks the first day of Black History Month in the US. I make the distinction because the UK celebrates it in October. This distinction is especially vital considering the lengths to which the current occupant of 1600 is trying to remove it and place all societal ills on DEI. Such a simple return to the blood soaked roots that the nation grew from. States banning Black History when it has barely been taught for 50 years. 2025 will be a bit different from how i've posted in years past because this is different. There will be a celebration of our achivements and a reminder of why. Our history despite how others may deem it is American history. You cannot have one without the other and there is no future where we are not part of it. Ahsoka - a tale of plot device

Alright, so let me start off by saying no I did not watch all the cartoons and other shows that one needs to see before starting Ahsoka. So my knowing of who she is as a character comes from The Mandalorian. Should I probably go back and watch everything, meh who knows but I'm probably not gonna do it. So now that I have admitted to not being a big Star Wars watch everything type of fan let's start get on with the show! The first few episodes have been interesting and are keeping my attention. But I want to say the visuals of this show are just... hmm I don't even know if Stellar is the best word. I mean visually it is soo beautiful. There are soo many scenes that could become art, just beautiful backgrounds. If there is one thing these shows are doing well it's the details.
