Hello it's the 8th of May so that means another anime to recommend. This time we are going back a few decades to the 70s!
昆虫物語 みなしごハッチ
The Adventures of Hutch the Honeybee.
Konchū Monogatari: Minashigo Hatchi, - A Bug's Tale: Hutch the Orphan
The plot starts with the hive and queen being attacked and destroyed by wasps. This attack clears nearly all of the bees inside and the poor eggs are eaten. Luckily Hutch is one of the surviving eggs.
The original show had sad and some say cruel storylines. Meeting new insects only to have them die a painful death.
