May 9th Dragon Ball Series

Today is May 9th and what does that mean?

It's GOKU day! It is also King Piccolo Commemoration Day.

What's Goku Day you may ask?

Well it's simple it's the day to celebrate our favorite Saiyan. 

Go- ご=5,  Ku- く=9 in Japanese.  (Not the way his written as the character but think of it same we do May 4)

Also supposedly Toei Animation requested this to be the day for his celebration.  How true that is I do not know. 

People might be happy to know he wasn't meant to be a hero which is why people are saying he's a villain. He's not really that either. He is just someone who wanted to fight stronger people. Kind of like One-Punch Man.

All of this just to say today is about Dragon Ball the entire series. Whether you are a Dragon Ball, Z, GT, Z-Kai, Super or Heroes fan celebrate your guy!

As stated earlier it's also King Piccolo. No, not Gohan's true father but King Piccolo. The true villain!
